Expected behavior for everyone participating in VernLLM
Our pledge
We want VernLLM to be a welcoming project to contribute to and use, regardless of experience level, background, or identity. Everyone participating, maintainers, contributors, and users interacting in issues or discussions, is expected to help keep it that way.
Expected behavior
- Be respectful and considerate in discussions, code reviews, and issue threads.
- Give and accept constructive feedback gracefully; critique the code or idea, not the person.
- Be patient with newer contributors and with questions that may have been asked before.
- Assume good faith. Most misunderstandings come from missing context, not bad intent.
Unacceptable behavior
- Harassment, insults, or personal attacks, in public or private channels.
- Discriminatory jokes, language, or imagery.
- Publishing others' private information without consent.
- Sustained disruption of discussions, issues, or pull requests.
- Any other conduct that would reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
Scope
This applies to all project spaces, GitHub issues, pull requests, discussions, and any other official VernLLM channels, as well as to individuals representing the project in public spaces.
Reporting
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, please report it by opening a private communication with a maintainer via GitHub, rather than escalating publicly. Reports will be handled discreetly and reviewed promptly.
Enforcement
Maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing these standards, and may remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, issues, and other contributions that violate this Code of Conduct, or temporarily/permanently ban contributors for behavior they deem inappropriate, threatening, or harmful.
